Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Science Endorsement for Middle Grades (5-8 or 6-9)
- Prior experience teaching general education science at the middle school level preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities

Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement dynamic science lessons aligned with curriculum standards for middle school students
- Facilitate an inclusive, stimulating classroom atmosphere conducive to inquiry-based learning
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting instructional strategies as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to promote each student's academic and social-emotional growth
- Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
