  • Dedicated to onsite presence throughout the school year (no virtual instruction options)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging health curriculum to junior high students
  • Foster a safe, positive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and learning
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and adapt instruction to meet varying student needs
  • Collaborate with school leadership, fellow teachers, and support professionals to optimize student outcomes
  • Uphold district standards and support overall school initiatives

Position Details:

  • Schedule: August 17, 2026, through May 21, 2027
  • Weekly hours: 33.75, following the school calendar
  • Location: Onsite only at a junior high in the Calumet City area
