Youll teach Spanish within general education classrooms, collaborating with students and staff onsite for the 2026-2027 school year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)with bilingual endorsement required
- Classroom teaching experience with junior high or high school students
- Ability to create an inclusive, student-centered learning atmosphere
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Demonstrated passion for supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Spanish as part of the general education curriculum to classes of 20 or fewer students
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the unique needs of junior high students in a bilingual setting
- Foster a positive learning environment that embraces students cultural backgrounds
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing tailored guidance as needed
- Collaborate with fellow educators, school staff, and families to support student achievement
This assignment runs from August 17, 2026 through June 2, 2027, with 33.75 onsite hours per week, allowing you to make a lasting educational impact over the school year.
