Qualifications and Experience Needed:
- Valid Illinois Teaching License
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Prior experience teaching elementary students strongly preferred
- Ability to design and implement engaging, standards-based lessons for 4th graders
- Excellent communication skills, collaborating effectively with students, families, and fellow educators
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver daily instruction to a classroom of 4th-grade students following established curriculum and learning objectives
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters academic and emotional growth
- Develop lesson materials and assessments to address varied student learning needs
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for all learners
- Participate in school activities, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development as scheduled
