Job Description

Step into an essential support role working onsite in a vibrant K-8 educational environment, serving as the primary liaison for students, families, and staff. As the Bilingual Office Manager, you will handle daily operational functions to ensure the smooth running of all school business matters. This Monday through Friday position (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM) offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a variety of responsibilities, from managing attendance and communications to supporting enrollment and food service operations. Fluency in Spanish is required, and Haitian Creole is highly valued.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bilingualstrong Spanish required; Haitian Creole a plus
  • Prior experience in admissions, enrollment, registrar, or contracts administration
  • DESE reporting and data management background
  • Comfortable with school systems: Infinite Campus, ParentSquare, and Otus
  • Proficient in Excel and data entry
  • Business office management or similar administrative experience in an educational setting
  • Excellent front-desk communication skillsphone, email, and face-to-face
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist families, students, and visitors at the front desk for a K-8 age group
  • Manage attendance and contact families regarding student absences
  • Oversee food service data, meal orders, and food service audits
  • Address records requests, update student files, and distribute report cards
  • Support admissions, enrollment, and registrar duties
  • Coordinate daily communications and building announcements
  • Maintain smooth school operations by liaising with the operations director and monitoring facility needs
