Bring your expertise in language education to an engaging middle school setting as a Multi-Language/English Language Learner Teacher. You'll work with students three days a week, totaling 21 hours, helping learners thrive in an inclusive, supportive learning environment. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Connecticut teaching certification with TESOL or bilingual education endorsement
- All required education, preparation, and exam credentials completed
- Experience teaching multilingual or English language learners at the middle school level preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a talent for engaging middle school students
- Collaborative approach to working with colleagues and support staff
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, culturally respectful classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective instruction to students acquiring English as an additional language
- Develop and adapt lessons tailored to students linguistic needs
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to students and families
- Work closely with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure holistic learning
- Cultivate a welcoming classroom atmosphere that values diversity and celebrates languages
- Participate in professional development and relevant school meetings

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.00 to $38.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
