An opportunity is available for a full-time General Education Teacher specializing in English Language Arts (ELA) to instruct 5th-grade students. This role is based in Belvidere, IL, within a school setting on a contractual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive ELA instruction aligned with curriculum standards to two 5th-grade classes.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that supports student learning and engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to encourage academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues and utilize available resources to enhance instructional practices.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement for elementary education.
- Demonstrate proficiency in general education teaching and specifically in ELA instruction.
- Strong communication and organizational skills suited to managing multiple classes.
