Inspire and educate the next generation of innovators as a full-time middle school Science educator. This contract opportunity extends through the 20262027 school year and provides the chance to work in a supportive, dynamic environment with a dedicated group of 6th8th grade students. The position offers a hands-on, engaging atmosphere where youll help shape young minds and foster a passion for science within the classroom.

What Were Looking For:

• Current, active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Certificatecandidates must hold this at the time of application
• Experience teaching science at the middle school level preferred
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to design creative, standards-based science lessons
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging science instruction to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students in an onsite school setting
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with state and district standards
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with other educators and staff on curriculum planning and school initiatives
• Monitor student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and maintain accurate records
• Participate in professional development opportunities and school events
• Support students academic and social-emotional development
