Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
• Previous experience in a school setting assessing and supporting students with diverse needs
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment instruments, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret assessment data and make evidence-based recommendations
• Strong organization and time management abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational assessments for referred students
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to develop effective IEPs
• Interpret and present assessment results in a clear, professional manner
• Provide recommendations for instructional strategies and classroom accommodations
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines
• Participate in student support and eligibility meetings
• Serve as a resource to school staff on assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
