Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician or the appropriate state credential
- Previous experience conducting educational assessments within a school setting is highly valued

- Excellent communication skills for meetings with parents, educators, and other support staff

What Youll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student learning needs and determine eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Serve as a resource regarding assessment tools, results, and best practices in academic interventions
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and recommendations to create effective support plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold timelines for evaluations and reports
- Communicate sensitively and effectively with families, helping them understand their childs needs and the services available
- Stay current on state and federal educational policies impacting student evaluations
