Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
- Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, or related field
- Proven experience conducting comprehensive educational and psychological assessments
- In-depth understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and other relevant federal/state education guidelines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other support staff
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
Responsibilities:
- Administer standardized tests and interpret results to identify students educational needs and eligibility for special services
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, counselors, and parents to recommend instructional strategies and provide insights on student progress
- Maintain precise and timely documentation following district and state protocols
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Offer guidance on accommodations and modifications to best support student success in the classroom
