Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
- Demonstrated experience conducting educational assessments in K-12 settings
- Strong knowledge of special education procedures, eligibility criteria, and relevant regulations
- Skilled in administering, scoring, and interpreting a range of cognitive, achievement, and behavioral instruments
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with students, staff, and families
- Collaborative team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct educational evaluations for referred students, including eligibility assessments and reevaluations
- Analyze assessment data, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to educational teams and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultative support for teachers and school staff regarding instructional interventions and accommodations
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal special education policies and timelines
