Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology, or related field
• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
• Strong knowledge of eligibility criteria for special education services and federal/state regulations (IDEA)
• Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic data and developing actionable recommendations
• Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and related service providers
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple assessments and timelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete individualized evaluations including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
• Analyze student data to determine appropriate eligibility for special education programs
• Prepare clear, detailed written reports and present findings to education teams and families
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, Individualized Education Plan (IEP) conferences, and student support discussions
• Provide consultative support and training to teachers regarding instructional strategies and accommodations
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with district and legal standards
