Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Educational Diagnostician certification and relevant state credentials
  • Strong knowledge of special education regulations and processes
  • Proficient in administering and interpreting standardized tests, cognitive, academic, and developmental assessments
  • Experience developing, writing, and presenting comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Ability to work effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed educational and psychological assessments for students referred to special education
  • Prepare and present clear, concise evaluation reports for Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee meetings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret assessment results and determine eligibility for services
  • Make recommendations to support individualized education programs (IEPs) based on student strengths and needs
  • Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers regarding instructional interventions and accommodations
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with all timelines and district/state protocols
