Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
- Experience conducting educational assessments and evaluations
- Strong knowledge of special education regulations and IEP development
- Effective communication skills for working with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Ability to analyze data and create comprehensive reports
- Familiarity with a range of assessment tools and strategies
- Compassionate approach and commitment to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret standardized assessments to identify students strengths and areas of need
- Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams to determine eligibility for special education services
- Develop thorough, legally compliant evaluation reports
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to interpret assessment results and plan interventions
- Assist in the development, review, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide expertise in special education eligibility and placement processes
- Attend meetings and provide consultation to school staff and families
