Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification (or eligibility in Kansas)
- Masters degree in education, special education, or a related field
- Solid understanding of current diagnostic tools and assessment procedures
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and grade levels
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive educational assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Interpret data and present findings in clear, actionable reports
- Work closely with IEP teams to develop appropriate educational plans
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to gather relevant background information
- Stay current with state and federal special education regulations
- Participate in meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations or modifications
