Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Educational Diagnostician in a close-knit district situated just east of Albuquerque. This district serves a total of 500 special education students and prides itself on a supportive, collaborative environment led by an exceptionally kind and welcoming director. Your role will focus on providing essential diagnostic services across two elementary schools and one middle school, all located conveniently on the west side. With a flexible team setupincluding per diem diagnosticians and an intern joining in the 26/27 school yearthere is a strong network in place for guidance and shared resources. Pre-K students are not included in your caseload, allowing you to concentrate on elementary and middle school-aged learners.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct educational evaluations and assessments for students referred for special education services
• Collaborate with fellow diagnosticians and school staff to interpret data and recommend educational interventions
• Provide thorough documentation and maintain accurate records in line with PED requirements
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the districts collaborative diagnostic process

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid credentials as an Educational Diagnostician
• Experience in completing student assessments and evaluations in a school setting
• Ability to provide documentation of PED process and relocation timeline, if applicable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on teamwork
