Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as an Educational Diagnostician in the state of Texas
- Experience conducting evaluations and assessments with school-aged children
- In-depth knowledge of IDEA, state, and federal guidelines governing special education
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret data, write clear reports, and present findings to educational teams and families
- Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools and software
- Collaborative approach to working with educators, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for special education services
- Interpret and analyze assessment data to diagnose learning disabilities or other educational needs
- Prepare detailed evaluation reports and participate in ARD/IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents about assessment results and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Monitor students progress and adjust evaluation strategies as needed
- Remain up-to-date on best practices and regulatory requirements in educational diagnostics
