Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Educational Diagnostician to support students within a dynamic school setting on a contract basis near Sugar Land, TX. In this important role, you'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to identify students' learning needs and recommend effective interventions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
• Previous experience completing educational assessments in a school environment
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, eligibility criteria, and federal/state special education regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer standardized and informal assessments to evaluate students academic, cognitive, and behavioral needs
• Interpret evaluation results and prepare comprehensive, compliant reports
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, contributing expertise to eligibility decisions and the development of individualized plans
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student achievement
• Maintain accurate case documentation and meet all required deadlines
• Serve as a key resource for staff regarding assessment and learning differences
