Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification as an Educational Diagnostician (required)
• Bachelors or Masters degree in education, psychology, or related field
• Demonstrated experience conducting educational and psychological evaluations within a school setting
• In-depth knowledge of special education laws, eligibility criteria, and compliance procedures
• Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with faculty, families, and support staff
• Ability to adapt to diverse student populations and learning needs
• Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of students referred for special education services
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Interpret assessment data and provide clear, actionable recommendations for instruction and intervention
• Consult with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation complies with federal and state regulations
• Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee meetings as a key team member
