Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of educational assessments, IDEA, and 504 processes
- Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations for students with a range of exceptionalities
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
- Collaborative approach, able to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify student learning needs and eligibility for special education services
- Interpret results and generate clear, comprehensive evaluation reports
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings; assist with developing educational plans and recommending appropriate interventions
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding strategies and resources to maximize student achievement
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation that complies with district, state, and federal requirements
- Stay current on best practices, laws, and innovations related to special education and diagnostics
