Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Experience conducting formal evaluations and assessments for students with diverse educational needs
- In-depth knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and individual education program (IEP) development
- Ability to interpret educational assessment data and communicate results effectively
- Collaborative spirit, comfortable working alongside multidisciplinary teams and families
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Administer standardized tests and conduct educational evaluations to identify students strengths and areas for growth
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret assessment findings and advocate for appropriate educational supports
- Contribute to the design and implementation of student IEPs and 504 Plans
- Maintain thorough records and confidentiality throughout all phases of the assessment and reporting process
- Participate in eligibility meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Stay current with best practices, legal regulations, and research in educational diagnostics
