Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Certification or eligibility as an Educational Diagnostician
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and write detailed reports
- Strong collaboration and consultation skills
- Understanding of special education laws and processes
- Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs
- Effective communication with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments for K-12 students
- Evaluate academic, cognitive, and social-emotional functioning
- Interpret assessment data and share findings with educators and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP processes
- Consult with teachers and administrators on best practices and interventions
- Maintain thorough documentation in line with state and federal guidelines
