Job Description

Step into a dynamic role where your expertise as an Educational Diagnostician will support elementary-aged students in their academic journeys. Work full-time on a contract basis in a supportive environment, providing critical evaluation and intervention services across multiple campuses for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive educational assessments and assisting in the development of ARD documents to ensure students unique needs are met. While each campus benefits from the support of an ARD Specialist, your primary duties will focus on in-depth evaluations and collaborating with educators, families, and specialists to drive academic success for every learner.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

  • Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification (required)
  • Demonstrated experience as an Educational Diagnostician within Texas public schools; several years in a similar setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with ARD meetings and special education compliance within Texas schools
  • Strong skills in student evaluation, data analysis, and collaborative problem solving
  • Willingness to travel between assigned campuses as an itinerant support professional
  • Commitment to working onsite, 40 hours per week, throughout the school year contract
  • Must be able to complete fingerprint and background check with the district prior to starting

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conducting educational assessments and comprehensive evaluations of elementary-age students
  • Participating in ARD meetings and documentation processes
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and support staff to create actionable educational plans
  • Clearly communicating findings and recommendations to families and team members
  • Managing caseloads efficiently while moving across campuses
