Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
- Previous experience conducting academic and cognitive assessments for students
- Deep understanding of special education laws, IEP processes, and eligibility criteria
- Proficient in report writing and documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to interpret assessment findings and present to families and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational and psychological assessments for referred students
- Interpret assessment data and recommend appropriate educational interventions
- Participate actively in IEP meetings to develop tailored education plans
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families on student progress and accommodations
- Maintain thorough and timely records and reports in compliance with guidelines
- Stay current with best practices in educational diagnostics and intervention
