Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Experience conducting educational evaluations and assessments in school settings
• Strong understanding of special education laws, guidelines, and processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Detail-oriented, with organizational skills to maintain accurate records and reports

Responsibilities:

• Administer formal and informal assessments to evaluate students academic and cognitive abilities
• Compile, interpret, and communicate evaluation results to educators and families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Consult with teachers, counselors, and administrators to recommend instructional strategies and accommodations
• Maintain up-to-date, confidential student records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate in eligibility meetings, staffing, and ARD/IEP conferences
• Serve as an informational resource on special education support services and processes
