Desired Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician or eligibility to obtain certification
• Masters degree in special education, psychology, or a related field
• Experience working in school settings, preferably in educational assessment roles
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, testing protocols, and cognitive/academic assessment tools
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, families, and students
• Ability to organize, interpret, and present evaluation results to multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational assessments and interpret results to identify students with special needs
• Develop detailed diagnostic reports summarizing findings and recommendations for instructional methods or services
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to design and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Participate in campus and district meetings by sharing assessment outcomes and strategies to support student learning
• Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines when conducting assessments and preparing documentation
• Serve as a resource for staff and families, explaining evaluation processes and results
