What Youll Bring:
- Valid certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician (or eligibility to obtain)
- Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or a related field
- Recent experience in educational assessment within a K-12 setting
- Deep understanding of special education eligibility criteria, laws, and IEP development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to interpret data, write clear reports, and present findings to stakeholders
Your Daily Impact:
- Administer formal and informal assessments to identify students learning strengths and needs
- Analyze evaluation results to determine special education eligibility
- Craft and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers, counselors, and families to support student learning and intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Participate in problem-solving for instructional and behavioral challenges in educational settings
