What Were Looking For:
- Certification as an Educational Diagnostician (required)
- Previous experience assessing and supporting middle or intermediate school students
- In-depth knowledge of special education eligibility criteria and processes
- Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools and methodologies
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage caseload responsibilities efficiently
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational assessments and re-evaluations
- Collect and interpret data to guide individualized education program (IEP) development
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design intervention strategies
- Present assessment findings at ARD/IEP meetings and provide recommendations for services
- Maintain all required documentation and comply with district, state, and federal regulations
- Assume responsibility for a caseload of approximately 90 students in middle/intermediate grades
- Serve as an educational resource and advocate for students requiring specialized services
