Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification or eligibility in California
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
• Familiarity with special education law, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration
• Detail-oriented and able to manage a varied caseload efficiently
• Comfort working with diverse student populations across K-12 settings
• Previous school-based experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer standardized and non-standardized assessments to evaluate students cognitive and academic functioning
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to gather relevant data and provide recommendations
• Prepare comprehensive reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, presenting assessment results and contributing to individualized education planning
• Provide consultation and support to educators regarding instructional strategies and accommodations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by district and legal standards
