Job Description

A full-time Educational Diagnostician opportunity is available in the Lake Dallas, TX area, serving elementary and middle school students. This role focuses on providing specialized educational assessments and support to a manageable caseload across one elementary campus and an additional 10-20 middle school students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to identify student learning needs and eligibility for special education services.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, with most ARDs for the caseload already completed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state regulations.
  • Provide expert recommendations to support student success within the general education environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification is required.
  • Experience working with elementary and middle school students preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of educational assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education laws.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse school teams.

Position Details:

  • Contract role with 37.5 hours per week over 5 days.
  • Caseload includes one elementary campus plus 10-20 middle school students, allowing for thorough, focused attention.
  • Location: Lake Dallas, TX area.
