Make a difference supporting students by providing essential educational assessments and insights. This contract opportunity near Pasco, WA is ideal for a skilled Educational Diagnostician eager to collaborate within school environments and help shape individualized educational plans.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Certification as an Educational Diagnostician or equivalent credential
- Demonstrated experience working within K-12 school settings
- In-depth knowledge of special education processes and law
- Proficiency in conducting and interpreting psychoeducational assessments
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Capacity for compassionate, solution-oriented collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer a range of diagnostic assessments to identify student learning needs
- Interpret testing results and collaborate in developing IEPs and 504 plans
- Prepare detailed, clear, and actionable evaluation reports for multidisciplinary teams
- Consult with educators and parents to support appropriate instructional strategies
- Stay current on state and federal regulations impacting special education eligibility and services
- Attend and actively participate in relevant meetings, including eligibility determinations and parent conferences
