Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician or eligibility for certification in the state
- Background in administering and interpreting comprehensive educational and psychological assessments
- Familiarity with special education regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments to evaluate learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Gather and analyze data to inform eligibility and appropriate educational services
- Prepare and maintain detailed assessment documentation and reports for review
- Partner with teachers, specialists, and families to develop and update individualized education programs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide expertise regarding instructional strategies and accommodations
- Remain current with educational best practices and regulations to maintain compliance and quality service
