Key Requirements:
- Certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
- Previous experience working in a school or educational environment
- Strong understanding of special education laws and evaluation procedures
- Familiarity with various assessment tools and processes for eligibility determination
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational assessments to determine student needs
- Interpret data and assessments to inform IEP meetings and guide instructional decisions
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to recommend effective interventions and supports
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute expert insight during planning
