Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure/certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Proven experience conducting special education assessments and interpreting evaluation data
- Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in preparing formal reports and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Experience working within school environments preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations using standardized assessments and other diagnostic tools
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to gather pertinent information regarding student performance
- Analyze assessment data to identify students strengths and areas needing support
- Develop clear, actionable recommendations to inform educational planning and interventions
- Write detailed evaluation reports and present findings at multidisciplinary team and IEP meetings
- Provide guidance on special education eligibility and accommodations
- Support ongoing progress monitoring and assist with re-evaluation procedures as needed
