Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
- Masters degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field
- Demonstrated experience conducting evaluations and assessments in a school setting
- Solid understanding of federal and state regulations, including IDEA and Section 504
- Ability to interpret assessment data and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret a variety of educational and psychological assessments for students suspected of having disabilities
- Develop comprehensive, data-driven reports and recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to determine eligibility and appropriate services
- Participate actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
- Consult with staff and caregivers to support successful instructional strategies and accommodations
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of assessments, interventions, and communications
