Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Masters degree in Special Education or a related field preferred
- Experience conducting educational evaluations, including cognitive and academic assessments
- Comprehensive understanding of federal and state special education regulations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments for referred students, utilizing standardized tools and professional judgment
- Interpret and report evaluation results to educators, parents, and stakeholders
- Develop data-driven recommendations and support individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, fostering open communication among staff, students, and families
- Deliver professional expertise on educational disabilities, instructional interventions, and appropriate accommodations or modifications
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all reports comply with applicable regulations and timelines
