Job Description

Use your expertise as an Educational Diagnostician to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic educational environment near North Richland Hills, TX! This full-time, on-site contract opportunity welcomes professionals eager to support K-12 students in a supportive and collaborative setting. Scheduled hours correspond to the assigned campuseselementary (7:30 am - 3:30 pm) or secondary (8:00 am - 4:00 pm)offering structure while also maintaining essential work-life balance.

Your days will be energized by managing a caseload of approximately 85-100 students, preparing evaluations and re-evaluations, and collaborating closely with colleagues and families to ensure each students needs are understood and addressed. As a valued member of the educational team, you will use best practices to support the diverse learning needs of students from various grade levels.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Educator Certificate.
  • Educational Diagnostician certification from the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC).
  • Masters degree in an appropriate field.
  • At least three years of credible classroom teaching experience.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and consultation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for special education eligibility and services.
  • Interpret assessment data and collaborate on individualized education planning.
  • Provide consultation and support to instructional staff regarding students needs.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to families and team members.
  • Maintain all required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
