Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
  • Masters degree in Special Education or related field preferred
  • Proven experience administering educational and psychological assessments
  • Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and educational best practices
  • Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for special education and related services
  • Interpret test results and prepare written diagnostic reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for instructional planning
  • Assist in the development, review, and revision of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Serve as a resource to staff and families regarding assessment results and instructional strategies
  • Maintain compliance with all documentation and regulatory guidelines
  • Support ongoing professional development and stay current on best practices in educational diagnostics
