Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Masters degree or higher in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology, or a related field
  • Valid Educational Diagnostician certification or eligibility
  • Experience conducting comprehensive educational assessments and evaluations
  • Proficiency in interpreting and explaining standardized test results
  • Familiarity with IEP development, special education laws, and MTSS/RTI processes
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic, school-based environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, score, and interpret a variety of cognitive, achievement, and behavioral assessments
  • Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation and IEP meetings, sharing results and recommendations
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrators to design appropriate instructional and behavioral supports
  • Maintain timely, detailed, and compliant documentation for evaluation reports and student files
  • Serve as a resource for families and staff regarding special education processes and student needs
  • Stay current with best practices, assessment tools, and legal requirements in special education
