An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Educational Diagnostician in a smaller, close-knit district located approximately 40 miles east of Albuquerque. This welcoming district serves around 500 students in Special Education and is known for its supportive leadership and a collaborative diagnostic team that values teamwork and open communication. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid credentials to work as an Educational Diagnostician
  • Experience conducting educational evaluations and assessments
  • Familiarity or willingness to comply with PED documentation requirements
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a tight-knit team
  • Ability to work independently at multiple school sites
  • Previous school-based or district experience is strongly preferred

Position Responsibilities:

  • Handle evaluations and assessments for students at two elementary schools and one middle school (no Pre-K caseload)
  • Contribute to a diagnostic team alongside per diem and intern diagnosticians
  • Maintain clear documentation and provide confirmation of status in the PED process as required
  • Travel between assigned sites on the west side of the district
  • Ensure all evaluation processes meet district, state, and special education standards
