Job Description

Help shape students learning journeys by bringing your expertise as an Educational Diagnostician to a dynamic school setting near Mooseheart, IL. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Educational Diagnostician certification or current eligibility for state licensure
  • Masters degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience interpreting psychoeducational evaluations and developing recommendations
  • Strong knowledge of RTI/MTSS and special education eligibility criteria
  • Excellent communication skillsable to collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency with assessment tools, IEP software, and documentation protocols
  • Previous school-based experience is highly valued

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational assessments and re-evaluations for students referred for special education services
  • Analyze data and interpret test results to identify strengths, needs, and eligibility
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and guidance to families and staff
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrative staff to develop and monitor effective interventions
  • Maintain accurate, timely evaluation reports and support compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Offer training and consultation to staff regarding best practices in assessment and progress monitoring
