A full-time Educational Diagnostician position is available within a K-12 school in Metairie, LA. This contract role runs through the current school year with a start date as soon as possible and concludes on May 22, 2026. The position requires working 35 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar. Daily hours consist of 7 working hours plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active Louisiana DOE certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Completion of district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting
• Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
• Candidates must be fully certified and ready to begin immediately; no pending licensing processes will be considered
• Ability to manage caseloads and coordinate services within assigned schools (number of schools to be determined)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational assessments and evaluations for students K-12
• Interpret testing results and collaborate with educators and families to develop appropriate educational plans
• Provide detailed reports and documentation aligning with district guidelines and deadlines
• Support compliance with all relevant policies and procedures surrounding special education and student services
• Participate in team meetings and maintain effective communication with school staff and administration
