Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
- Experience conducting educational assessments and interpreting diagnostic data
- Solid knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and eligibility criteria
- Strong writing skills for drafting clear, actionable evaluation reports
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple student cases
- Previous school-based experience is highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational assessments for referred students
- Develop and interpret individualized education evaluation reports
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Make recommendations for services, interventions, and classroom accommodations
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education evaluation
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and records
- Support students and staff through consultation and follow-up as needed
