Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, or a related field
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in administering and interpreting a broad range of academic and cognitive assessments
- Solid understanding of federal and state special education regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and team members
- Prior experience in a K-12 educational setting is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational assessments for students referred for special education evaluation
- Prepare clear, detailed diagnostic reports to support eligibility decisions and instructional planning
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing assessment results and recommendations
- Consult with teachers, parents, and related service providers to develop evidence-based intervention strategies
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district protocols and regulations
