Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
  • Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, or a related field
  • Prior experience conducting educational, psychological, and behavioral assessments
  • Knowledge of special education laws (IDEA, Section 504)
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret diagnostic results and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Collaborative mindset, adaptable to varied educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and interpret results to identify students learning strengths and challenges
  • Develop clear, actionable recommendations to support appropriate educational interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing vital input on eligibility and service recommendations
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding evaluation outcomes and instructional strategies
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal guidelines related to special education assessment and documentation
  • Stay current with educational best practices and new developments in assessment tools
  • Provide ongoing support to staff and students as needed
