Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Masters degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience working with school-age children in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and special education laws
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational assessments for referred students
- Interpret data and generate clear, actionable evaluation reports
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings, sharing findings and recommendations
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to design targeted interventions and accommodations
- Monitor student progress and adjust recommendations as needed
- Stay current with best practices, legal guidelines, and continuing education
