Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification/license as an Educational Diagnostician
- Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Assessment, or related field
- Strong knowledge of current assessment tools, procedures, and special education eligibility criteria
- Experience conducting comprehensive educational evaluations in a school setting
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate, compliant documentation
What Youll Do:
- Administer and interpret a variety of standardized and informal assessments to determine students' educational needs
- Prepare detailed written reports summarizing evaluation findings and eligibility recommendations
- Participate as a key team member in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to guide educational plans and supports
- Consult with teachers and staff to develop and monitor intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Support compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines related to special education services
- Provide professional guidance and training as needed to staff and parents regarding assessment data and instructional techniques
- Maintain clear, timely communication with all relevant stakeholders
