Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician or relevant special education certification
- Experience conducting a variety of standardized and informal assessments
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and compliance procedures
- Ability to interpret results and generate detailed, actionable reports
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Organization and attention to detail in managing caseloads and documentation
- Comfortable working in diverse school environments with students of varying backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Work collaboratively with IEP teams to develop effective support strategies
- Provide consultation to educators regarding appropriate interventions and instructional techniques
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to special education evaluation
- Maintain thorough, confidential records and prepare comprehensive assessment documentation
- Communicate results and recommendations clearly to students, families, and staff
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and continued education as needed
