Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
- Background or degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience with cognitive, achievement, and behavioral assessments
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Effective communicatorable to present assessment results clearly to families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Previous experience working within school districts is highly valued
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students eligibility for special education services
- Develop, interpret, and present individualized assessment reports
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insight for educational planning
- Support schools with compliance regarding state and federal special education regulations
- Collaborate with teachers and service providers to implement and monitor educational recommendations
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
