Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Educational Diagnostician to support K-12 students in Texas schools. This contract position involves assessing and identifying students' educational strengths and needs to help develop appropriate learning plans. Working 37.5 hours per week over five days, the role requires expertise in educational diagnostics and strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations
  • Ability to administer and interpret educational assessments accurately
  • Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and guidelines
  • Strong interpersonal and report-writing skills

Location:

  • Position is based in Texas; assignments may be within various Texas school districts.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students learning abilities and challenges
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Remain current with educational diagnostic practices and regulatory requirements
